Alison Kuntz is a Toledo native and passionate advocate for community equity. With a background in cosmetology and education, she brings over a decade of experience working directly with people before transitioning into the non-profit sector to pursue systems-level change. In her current role as Grant Administrator for the Toledo Lucas County Homelessness Board, Alison demonstrates strong leadership by managing and monitoring vital funding streams that sustain housing, shelter, and outreach programs across the region.
She has implemented process improvements that enhance funding compliance and increase program accountability, ensuring resources are effectively used to meet community needs. Alison’s leadership is also evident in her collaborative approach—building strong local partnerships, engaging diverse stakeholders, and driving continuous performance improvement. Whether coordinating Tent City’s Hair Tent or leading data-driven monitoring efforts, Alison brings a people-first mindset and a deep commitment to ensuring every individual in Toledo has access to stability, dignity, and opportunity. She is currently pursuing a degree in sociology to deepen her impact and further inform her work.
