Kristin Mckinley

Youth Coordinator | Toledo Lucas County Homeless Board(TLCHB)

Kristin McKinley serves as the Youth Coordinator for the Toledo Lucas County Homelessness Board, where she leads initiatives focused on preventing and ending youth homelessness across the OH-501 Continuum of Care. With a strong background in street outreach and youth engagement, she collaborates with service providers, community partners, and young people to develop trauma-informed, youth-centered strategies that ensure access to safe, stable housing.

Prior to her current role, Kristin served as the Street Outreach Coordinator at the Zepf Center, where she created and managed outreach plans, developed a positive youth development framework, and helped launch a youth advisory board. Her career also includes over two decades in education, where she championed student leadership, equity, and critical thinking in both classroom and extracurricular settings.

Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University, with a concentration in child and animal psychology, and brings a unique blend of educational, nonprofit, and outreach experience to her role. Her passion for youth empowerment and system-level change continues to drive her work in creating a coordinated response to youth homelessness in Lucas County.
